Stall Life Duration

Average stall life duration is 4 - 6 weeks using a recommended 6 to 8 bags for a 12' x 12' stall

Suggested Application and Usage

Strip stall completely.  Spread minimum of 6 to 8 bags of pelleted shavings per stall (approx. 2" deep).  Moisten with water to initiate softness of pellet.  Pick stalls when necessary by opening the wet areas, mix with dry or remove as needed.  If dust develops, mist with water (this will have little effect on performance).

Absorption

Pelleted shavings absorb liquids expelled in stalls at a rapid rate.  The key to a fresh stall and barn is the containment of the liquids before they penetrate the floor.  The bedding contains the liquids and also absorbs the ammonia which keeps a fresh smell to the barn and helps control flies and insects because of the absorption of ammonia.  This bedding has the ability to dry itself, absorb ammonia and reuse itself over and over.  The pine pellet shavings can also offer the same benefits for cat litter and small animal bedding.
